Private credit firms are not suffering from a lack of data. They are challenged by too many sources, inconsistent formats, fragmented ownership, and manual interpretation. The result is operational complexity that slows teams down, increases risk, and makes it harder to trust the numbers that drive critical decisions.

Join Principal Asset ManagementF2 Strategy and Alkymi for a discussion on how private credit firms can move from data chaos to a more scalable, controlled, and unified operating model.

This webinar will explore why more data does not always lead to better decisions, where operational breakdowns typically occur, and how firms can modernize data workflows.

Featured Topics

Why Data Chaos Slows Private Credit Operations

Private credit workflows rely on data from loan agent notices, custodians, OMS and PMS platforms, portfolio accounting systems, valuation models, treasury systems, and market data vendors. But turning that information into trusted, usable data often requires manual review, spreadsheet controls, data translation, security mapping, and accounting interpretation.

The real challenge is not collecting data. It is creating trust.

The Hidden Work Behind Loan Agent Notice Processing

LAN processing is often viewed as a document extraction problem, but the work does not stop once data is captured. Firms must still validate coupon resets, paydowns, drawdowns, accruals, accounting events, cash activity, and downstream reconciliation.

For many private credit teams, the notice is just the beginning of the process.

Integration and Process Fragility

Even firms with strong systems often struggle with fragile handoffs between operations, vendor platforms,  accounting, and reporting. Every handoff introduces timing risk, mapping risk, reconciliation risk, and operational risk.

We will examine how security master mapping, naming convention mismatches, manual reviews, shadow spreadsheets, and institutional knowledge create hidden points of failure and explore practical strategies to address them.

Risk, Compliance, and Reporting

Reliable reporting depends on trusted data. We'll explore how firms can reduce valuation, reporting, operational, liquidity, and governance risk by improving data quality, traceability, validation, and ownership across the investment lifecycle.

From Data Chaos to Unified Data Strategy

Bringing order to fragmented data requires more than new technology. Learn how leading firms are establishing clear data ownership, standardized definitions, and trusted workflows that improve efficiency, governance, and decision-making.
