Alkymi Announces Immediate Support for Kimi K3 in Limited Preview for Clients

by Steve She, CTO

Kimi K3

We are announcing preview support for Kimi K3, Moonshot AI’s newly released frontier model, on the Alkymi platform. Starting immediately, clients can request access to test Kimi K3 on their document workflows in their own tenants, in both Alkymi’s SaaS and private cloud environments.

Why Kimi K3

Kimi K3, released last week, is the largest open-weight model available today and already ranks alongside leading proprietary models on independent benchmarks for real-world knowledge work and long-horizon agentic tasks.

For our clients in private markets and insurance, this matters for two reasons. First, performance: K3’s strength on complex, multi-step reasoning maps directly to the workflows our clients run every day, extracting data from capital call notices, loan agent notices, compliance certificates, and financial statements. Second, deployment flexibility: as an open-weight model, K3 can run in environments where data residency or security requirements make API-only models a non-starter.

Model choice is a first principle at Alkymi

We’ve built Alkymi around a simple conviction: no single model will be best at every task, in every environment, forever. That’s why the platform already supports models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Meta, DeepSeek, and other leading open source providers. The model is a component of the workflow, not the foundation it’s built on, clients evaluate models side by side on their own documents and choose the right one for each workflow based on accuracy, cost, latency, and deployment requirements.

Adding Kimi K3 extends that choice to the newest frontier-class open-weight model on the market within days of its release.

Future-proofing your workflows

Workflows deployed on Alkymi are insulated from model lock-in. Your investment is in the workflow: the schemas, validation rules, and integrations into systems like SS&C Geneva, SimCorp Dimension, Snowflake, Databricks, Finbourne and BNY. When a better, faster, or more cost-effective model arrives, your workflows can take advantage of it without re-engineering or migration projects. The model underneath evolves as the state of the art evolves — and with Alkymi, it will.

How to get access

Kimi K3 is available now in limited preview. Existing clients can contact their account team to enable K3 for evaluation in their tenant, and benchmark it against their current model configuration on real production documents before making any changes.

Not yet an Alkymi client? Get in touch. We’d love to show you how model choice works on your own documents.
